Meet The Artist

As the creative force behind Ranchland Reflections Art Studio, I am a self-taught artist living on a mountain in NE Washington, where wide open skies and rugged beauty inspire everything I create. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember--I've been horse-crazy since the beginning--and they continue to shape both my days and my art.

My work is rooted in the spirit of the western lifestyle: the grit, the freedom, and the timeless bond between people, animals, and the land. Through my art, I strive to capture those moments that feel both deeply personal and universally true--whether it's the power of a running horse, the quiet of mountain life, or the essence of western culture itself.

Thank you for stopping by. I invite you to explore my art and share in the lifestyle and passion that inspire me every day.

My Story

At Ranchland Reflections Art Studio, I specialize in creating beautiful western-themed oil paintings.

When I was a little kid, all I ever wanted was a horse. I was one of those horse-crazy girls who dreamed of galloping across open fields, but owning one wasn't possible at the time. So, I did the next best thing--I started drawing them. With a pencil and paper, I created my own horses, each one carrying me on adventures that lived in my imagination.

The love of drawing never left me. Over the years, art became more than just a way to capture what I couldn't have--it became a companion, a teacher, and a kind of therapy. Whenever life grew heavy or uncertain, I'd turn to my canvas and paints. Creating gave me a place to breathe, a way to process, and a reminder of the beauty still around me.

Today, I live surrounded by the very life I once dreamed of-mountains in northwestern Washington, horses by my side, and the western lifestyle woven into my days. My art still begins the same way it did when I was a child: with love, imagination, and the simple joy of bringing a piece of western spirit to life on canvas.

Each piece I create carries a part of that journey--the longing of a young dreamer, the healing of heard seasons, and the fulfillment of finally living the life that once only existed in drawings.
